Who we are
OverpaymentSense™ is software provided by SmartScanit Group Ltd, company number 17311565, registered office 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. Contact: privacy@smartscanitgroup.co.uk. We are not VAT registered.
What you are buying
You pay £49.99 once for a licence to use the software for 12 months from the date of payment. It calculates estimates from the figures you enter and prepares a claim pack for you to print. There is no subscription and it does not renew.
What we do not do
We do not give tax advice. We are not your tax agent. We do not contact HMRC or submit anything for you. You decide whether to make a claim, and you sign and send it yourself.
No guarantee
All figures are estimates. There is no guarantee of success. HMRC decides whether you're eligible and how much, if anything, is repaid. The price is for use of the software, whatever HMRC decides.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the figures and answers you enter, for checking every page of your pack, and for signing and submitting your claim and keeping your records.
Your right to cancel
You normally have 14 days from payment to cancel. If you ask for immediate access and your claim pack is unlocked, you agree that you lose this right once it is unlocked. If nothing has been unlocked within 14 days of payment, you can cancel for a full refund by emailing privacy@smartscanitgroup.co.uk.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
